can you compare the corrado vr6 subframe to a mk3 golf subframe so we can see the difference in the engine mount bracket height?
its the same as a MK2 G60 subframe pretty much same as normal mk2 the only difference is the extra bracket for the weight thingy on the front plus extended brackets behind the wishbone bolts that attach to the chassis legs.
its so the corrado 16v wasnt faster than the vr6 I assume its to solve a resonance issue at certain rpm, but not really sure!
Aye, it's a resonance/vibration damper, probably worth saving the extra weight if you've thrown coilovers on etc. Also allows the G60's to be quicker than those VR6's. lol Afraid I've no MK3 subframes knocking about, would be interesting to see. Neil.
