    Hi,

Can anyone tell me the part number and or more importantly where to get a replacement of the yellow valve pictured, the mice have been at mine and it is leaking badly.

I've looked on etka but it only shows the side of the intake capped off:

Just the cap I think, but do you have any ideas where to get the whole valve or a part number? now vagcat has disappeared I can't seem to find a decent parts diagram anywhere.

    Thanks

big cap is 431611817, 3.84+VAT from VW.

non-return valve is now 191611933A and doesn't include the big blanked off hole any more so thats handy, 14.27+VAT from VW or I pinched one off a mk3 in scrappy when I needed one for my mk1 167v swap, mk4 and newer also have similar. This would be a bit of a pain to replace though as the hard plastic pipe is a real bugger to remove and refit, lots of hot water and harsh language.

complete pipe is 192611931B but is now NLA :(

    Thanks rubjonny,

I'll get down the scrappers on Saturday or dealers if I don't find one.

    Cheers

a mk3 2.0 8v hose would probably work, look at mk3-3.5 cabrio too most common source for 2.0 8v engines these days but may find the crossflow engine in and that might not work. see whats bout, the rubber hose side of the valve is easy to repalce though so as long as the plastic pipe you find workd for you can make up the difference with a suitable rubber hose. just need to maek sure it wont collapse under vacuum.

on my mk1 cabrio it was all custom, mk1 fitting for servo, mk3 non-return hose and random rubber hose offcuts in between

if you go that way make sure the valve is the right way round else you have no servo assist ;)
