My white one had a load of pink patches, original owner would red oxide a massive masked off patch if had a stonechip, then spray it with white duplicolor.
Suppose it preserved the spread, but looks like a salmon splinter camo effect in places.

I've just been having a quick read of your thread. A proper wolf in sheeps clothing, very nice

There are some rust convertor/remover products that should help, note the rust convertors need the rust to create a reaction, however you'd need to get rid of the crusty rust!
Have a read-up on Bilt Hambler and Rustbuster products

As others have said they look fine, definitely worth saving. Onwards to the next reason to utter 'bloody car', heh

I have used both Bilthamber and Rustbuster products and they are both excellent. I have recently bought Bilthamber as they work out slightly cheaper and their customer service is very good. Two part epoxy mastic is brilliant stuff and I wouldn't use anything else for outer rust proofing now.

I've been using the bilthamber product for about 2 years and am happy with it.
Okay so saving these may not be the easiest way, or the cheapest. But I believe they will better
    Lot of hassle though
Phil Ryder, what is the 2 part epoxy you mention?
