so you got them ok then, how did you find fitting the acclerator cover?

they do look well smart, i never thought i'd really notice them after i first fitted them but they really do stand out and even passengers comment on them which was kind of unexpected!

i kick my accelerator cover off by accident sometimes, might glue the bugger on tbh :)

The accelerator was tricky to fit, and I'm not convinced it's on properly either. There seems to be a gap down each long side of the pedal and the rubber won't go over the pedal on those sides. It's not come off yet though!

The brake was also tricky to fit but the clutch went on easily.

I had sore fingers for a few days afterwards though!

PS. What's the purpose of the huge rubber bit round the brake pedal?

It's to stop your foot getting trapped between the pedals :p

It's happened many times with those drilled alloy pedals people fit, this is why it states they're for show and motorsport use in places such as the DT catalogue.

I saw a lad get his Fiesta jammed between a tree and a car park entrance once as his foot had got stuck between gas pedal and brake [8(]

Don't know the part number off hand because I'm at work, but you should find them
    Here

    And here

Failing that I'll PM you the part numbers over the weekend.

I got them from a local Audi dealer and paid about 25 for the three :) . If you go into your local dealer and just ask for a LHD TT accelerator pedal and RHD brake and clutch pedal they should sort you out. They may give you a strange look when you say they are for a Golf though (well they did with me!).

Thank You :) Not that many people like the grille, but it makes a change from all the debadged ones everyone else goes for! And combined with the lights it looks quite mean! I've seen a few cars with either the lights or the grille, but not both [:D]

I have put those pedals on mine aswell - The brake and acelerator cover kept on coming off, so I separated the rubber away from the metal cut two holes at the top and bottom and slipped a tie wrap through. Put the metal back on (bit fiddly) and straped them to the pedals - works a treat...BTW it will fail the MOT if the pedal covers come off!!!!

Had that problem when fitting the LHD TT accel. pedal to my Mk2. The trick was to pull the rubber 'inner' out of the metal pedal cover, and then carefully re-shape the metal bit to match the curvature of the accel. pedal on your car.

I did this by squashing it almost flat on a flat surface, and then introducing a bit of a curve near the lower end. The rubber bit then goes back in (fiddly!) and it should fit a lot better - i.e. the rubber goes completely over the original pedal on both sides. Takes a fair bit of careful re-shaping but it worked.

Oh .. and I thought the little tab on the brake pedal cover was something to pull the cover on with .. but I could well be mistaken!

Looking verynice though .. if I had a Mk3 I imagine it would look a lot like yours! [:$]
