Where did you find the cylinder head so cheap. I can't seem to find any that are even available here in the uk.

I would think r36 block must be taller as well to be able to run different v angle yet same head gasket pattern.

Is the head cc volume a lot different to r32/bigger or smaller ?

Also any valve size measurements would be nice if possible.

I think the guy had no idea about the stuff he was selling.

    I'll measure valves for you

I have the head ready for install.
It appears that 3.6 heads have the same problem as 3.2 heads - burned exhaust valve seats.
I got them all replaced + intake and exhaust new valve seals.

    Following this closely.

did you manage to CC the head? Do you suspect any shrouding issues with the 84mm bore (89mm stock) ?

this would be a useful mod for the mk4/mk5 if any CR could be gained as a bonus.

this would be a useful way to move over to less restrictive inlet manifold. I cant comment on any potential midrange losses ( if any) from losing the variable length inlet. The r36 inlet looks a lot less restrictive. I feel the r32s capped on stock inlet, there aren't many aftermarket long runner options.

cant wait to here more...
