Mk2 golf anti roll bar problem

    I've fitted a mk3 golf subframe to my mk2 but now the bush that bolts to the lower arm the arb slots in is up against the CV joint I don't know why seeing it's the same hub and lower arm help[:s]

    did you put the roll bar in upside down?
     
  3. Yes I had put it on upside down realized when the track rod was catching but it's the bit that's bolts on to the lower arm that's catching the gator I have put 16v hubs on and it was an 8v but I can't see why that would make any difference

    pics? were the cvs replaced same time?

    and you kept the mk2 roll bar?
     
  7. I'm going down in a bit I'll post a pic and it's the original bar to the car
     
  8. IMG_20200710_172544.jpg this one is just touching the drivers side which is pushing the a lot more on the gator I know I haven't put the roll bar right yet

    Make sure the roll bar is central then lower the car to the ground see how it look then :)
