Ive been trying to find a wiring diagram on a mk3 golf ignition module/coil but cant seem to find 1 .... what i need to no is .. on the module/coil theres 3 prongs .. i need to no which 1 is + and - and what the third 1 is for .....
3rd is to trigger the coil which is the middle pin on the plug. Use a multimeter to find +ve and -ve.
1 & Earth For checking Earth Resistance 0 1 & 3 For checking Supply Voltage 11 v min 2 & 3 For checking Signal
what he means is the 3rd wire is the trigger wire from the ecu which signals the coil to spark. black is +, brwon is - and the green/brown is the trigger wire. what engine code is it?
