My other half would really really like one, but the boot is just too small to be practical [:^(]

 

nice, but ive never been able to see the market for the lupo...surely the polo covers it

 

perhaps why they stopped making them?

Anyway do Polos really count as "superminis" anymore? The current polo is the size of a mk3 golf!

 

i guess as safety regs gets more stringent, the size of modern cars is going up

 

It more consumer-led than anything else. A car gets too big for it's sector so a new one comes in underneath... There's that new peugeot/citroen/toyota thing coming soon, that's tiny. The next Lupo will be bigger than the current one, it'll keep growing and then there'll be something else smaller underneath again.

The new Polo is the size of my Mk1 Golf!
