Recommend me a multimeter?

    Get good silicon leads and make them long ones with the threaded ends for aligator clips and plug into whatever takes your fancy. I personally like them a little chunkier and heavier with stands so they stay put.

    Always wanted an induction loop as well... handy to have.

    Induction loop ? You mean a clamp meter ? To measure ac current ?

    It's funny you just posted that Craig, I finally managed to get into a Screwfix on Saturday and they didn't have the 7.50 one so I splashed out on this:

    So far I've found out it works (which makes it better than my old one), it has a light and a buzzer :thumbup:

    Race spec too!!

    HOLD for those times you cant see and they look like silicon leads, rubber jacket so it doesnt slide all over the place.. Nice one! The heat molded handles are good too as the cheapo plastic tube ones can be a real pain with the tip slipping back into them. It should last a long time!

    PS... And it's a TYPE "R"!!!!:thumbup:

    Thats uncanny, I went for the 7.50 one as well and got that
