Hello guys my partner is applying for a job with the guide dogs. The application as to be in on Monday! Unfortunately she missed the last post tooday.

Is there a same day courier service anyone can recommend? I've had a look around but the ones I've seen and rather expensive!! If I can't find anything I'll hand deliver it, but tbh would prefer not to have to do this :)

Luton to Essex will take an hour.

I did same day courier work freelance for 10 years.

I once took a loaf of bread up to Glasgow to be tested by British bakeries. My mate, the next day, took a current bun with iceing and a cherry on top to the same place. Its a loopy business, businesses throw there (our) money away.

It did cross his mind after a long drive but it was to be 'tested' so was it just a dodgy batch or rat **** in it so he passed on that one.

A bike courier had a job to newcastle so left his bike at Kings Cross and caught a train - The train broke down between stations and he was hours late for delivery - it hit the fan.

One Friday a biker had to go to Bath and he knew that no-one would be at the address until Monday so he put a stamp on it and posted it first class. He wondered what all the fuss was when the customer queried the price of 100 when a first class stamp cost 19p.

Only 14 years too late [:D]
Mind you it’s been interesting to see price comparisons from 2008 to now

My old eyes thought that was a link to Jerkmate before things came into focus!
