About 845 last night Came on to the M25 at Jct 4 (i think it was) and proceeded to drive within the limit with me in my emerald green Audi S2 avant....

had HID's well one was working anyway...

he came off at the Westerham turning off the A21

i hung back for a bit, even let him over take me so i could hear the glorious VR sing, then put my foot down, i was almost tempted to change outa 6th, but that wasnt necessary.. lol

yeah, it only just about manages 16mpg when driven normally.... hate to think what its going to be like in a month or so, 450bhp....

 

i imagine the clutch and gearbox be over the moon when you hike it up to 450bhp

 

change of clutch, but the drive train can take 800-1000bhp without any issues, theres plenty of 800bhp s2/RS2's running around

 

i never knew the drive line was so over engineered. germans for you i suppose.

you have to remember its a heavy car....

i was just saying crazy cat to think a mk3 VR could play with an s2.... even a mildly modified one like mine....

 

nothing wrong with having a bit of a play either, gotta try your luck (within reason and safely)

ive seen your car on the rollers though... id have saved myself the embarrasment

 

i couldnt agree more, and the chances are he didnt know what it was anyway, just looks like an unassuming old audi estate

 

i played with a z4 a while back... don't not what i was expecting.. it didn't last very long

 

I played with a fart cannon'd civic the other day (no S or R badges) and actually managed to leave it

not sure if he'd eased off though

so I'm guessing a factory s2>vr6? that sounds mad too. Audi and their crazy estates. yes I know the RS6 pushes 5xxbhp. still. mental.

 

its not quiet a "factory" s2, it has been lightly breethed on... Although a stock s2 should still show a vr a clean pair of heals 230bhp 258lbs/ft (280lbs/ft overboost)
U have to remember the rs6 is a v.heavy motor 1800kg+ the old v8 rs6 436bhp is quicker than the 500+ v10 one, thats my next car, a 4.2 v8 twin turbo rs6 with an rs4 manual gear box, thats after i get bored of a 450bhp audi 80, sub 4 second 0-60 in the wet.....

 

Everyone knows about the new RS4's etc....but forget how good the older RS6 is, such stealth wagons considering the performance.
