Not posted for some time, but I've been lucky enough to buy a car I've wanted for an age. :)
A lovely GTI 16v. Needing a small amount of work (in progress) to get it back in top shape.
I've posted an old pic that's not mine (all I've got) I'll post more pics as it progresses......

The car is in unbelievably good condition, and needs very little work. It's obviously been well looked after in the past.
So far a new fuel pump and ignition module mechanically. Bodywork is excellent and needs a couple of blebs sorting plus a small dent in the rear scuttle. Usual problematic areas around the fuel cap and windscreen scuttle are sound. All plastics are good including all red inserts, the rear spoiler is complete. Inside the drivers seat has the usual bolster wear, and the roof lining has dropped at the back window.
Because of its condition including the original coke bottle top alloys I'm inclined to keep it completely standard.
    What does everybody think ?

Either standard or couple of OEM+ upgrades

Looks good, keep it standard as there can't be many left now!! if you can resist upgrading it.
