So good old Gary popped up here a few weeks ago. He is one of the members from a long time ago. He likes to come back every now and then to stir up conversation on the forum. He remember the good old days, pre FB. He feels strongly that our banter is now dead on this platform. (He does not do Facebook nor wants to be a leader on here to change that). So he came, posted, we welcomed him back from his sabbatical and out of the blue was contacted by some external party who said we are all 'bad' . Then as fast as he appeared, good ol Gaz37, the Club GTI stirrer seems to have vanished . So did he disappear was he chased? Anyone seen said alias? <takes cover, gets coat and takes the back door out> btw Gaz37, check your pms.
I seemed to have missed all the forum wars, sounded interesting and equally nasty in the same amounts. Nice to see some of the "nice" people are still logging in!.
Hope it is not a Vaux***l chassis thing. He could get banned for that alone. But then again Dave loves Saabs, so that means he can stay. He is still missing though.
Hello? Glad to see somebody missed me, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy but that may be due to incontinence. I would have been back sooner but I was abducted by aliens which wasn't as entirely an unpleasant experience as you might think, the probing was particularly enjoyable and I would wholeheartedly recommend that anybody seizes the opportunity to be abducted should it arise. Nice to see some consistency back on earth, the CGTI chat section still resembles a post apocalyptic wasteland but sadly without a Mad Max Interceptor which was incidentally based on a 1973 Ford Falcon XB with a fake supercharger. The latter being the opening line of Comfortably Numb which, if you're interested, was the last song ever performed by the classic line up of Gilmour, Waters, Wright & Mason, unless of course you're even older than me and prefer the Syd Barrett era, that being the case your brain is probably so scrambled from 60s mind enhancing substances that you probably can't read anymore.
