Vw golf 1.3 mh engine! What do I need to turbo charge it

    hello everyone, I have a mk2 golf 1.3 mh engine, I’m looking to turbo charge it! Can anyone help me on what parts I need please. TIA

    It's rarely done as it's a mediocre engine, and a 1.8 16v, or even a tuned 8v would be as quick as many efforts at minimal cost and effort.
    You'll need a manifold, turbo, downpipe, lots of plumbing for air, oil and coolant. Probably an intercooler, a proper carb or injection system etc.
