Hi I am currently doing a 1.8t agu conversion into a mk2 golf. I read a good thread on here about doing the agu con. Into a mk2, and what mounts to use. However they used a mk2 subframe with corrado mounts and I am using a mk3 subframe, the mk2 unit was rusty but I had a spare mk3 one.

    Question 1.
    What brackets do I use to mount a agu 1.6 t and 02j gearbox into a mk2 using a mk3 subframe?

    Question 2.
What mounts to use? I don't want to use the solid type.

    Question 3.
What front crosmembers do I need?

If someone has done this it would be great to know.
    Thanks

    1. MK3 ABF or TDI, or seat ibiza 20v
    2. try vr6, those are beefiest IIRC, or go for seat ibiza 20v. I'll look that one up later.
    3. mk2 crossmember with g60/corrado/passat front bracket. or if you can find one a corrado vr6 front carrier with mk3 abf/tdi/20v front bracket.

no probs, just looked up the rear mount for the ibiza 20v, its the same one as used by the MK3 8v and 16v part number 1H0199262B :)
