As the title suggests, is a diagram or list of all the floor bungs required for a Golf Mk2 Gti? Thanks in advance
Here is a list of vw underbody plugs for a passat from the www.tdiclub.com website... (I searched vw underbody plugs) I expect a bit of measuring on your floor pan will identify which ones you need. 1K0899185 40mm round plastic plug for flat hole -- two on each side behind rocker panels N10138801 30mm round plastic plug for deep hole -- one on each side behind front wheels N10226501 30mm round plastic plug for flat hole -- one on each side in box section N90508801 44x24mm oval plastic plug for flat hole -- four in each rocker panel plus one more each side N90402801 30x14mm oval plastic plug for deep hole -- one each side behind front wheels (plus one more each side towards the rear?) N10124501 (I think) 19.5mm round plastic plug for deep hole -- one each side in front of rear wheels https://forums.tdiclub.com/index.php?threads/underbody-plugs.398839/ https://forums.tdiclub.com/index.php?threads/missing-underbody-plugs.292891/
Great, thank you for that! how about the 2x small 20mm? holes on each side, on the rear “jacking points” should these be closed or open? Or in short, should there be anything open underneath the car?
You mean the two holes in these panels? ....https://www.heritagepartscentre.com/uk/191803503ar-rear-side-member-repair-left.html They are open for drainage/ventilation This panel, one under each front pax footwell has a drain/ventilation hole at the back, even though this replacement doesn't have it punched out....https://www.heritagepartscentre.com...nt-side-member-repair-left-or-right-side.html Have a look at this pic of an excellent job.....
