Inspired by Craig’s list, I’ve made one.

    • Make front shafts
    • Build full exhaust
    • Change all bushes
    • Weld in sheet metal, exhaust hangers and fuel cell mounts underneath
    • Completely strip the underside & fix any hidden rust
    • Re-underseal
    • Paint the inside
    • Modify the engine bay for 20v
    • Paint the engine bay
    • Buy and make a carpet
    • Retrim recaros in original style
    • Refurb all plastics
    • Rewire the entire car
    • Fix all body work
    • Paint the car
    • Reassemble the car with all new seals
    • Buy heated windscreen and install
    • Haldex loom,
    • Fit cruise control
    • Buy new brakes
    • Remap
    • MOT it..
    I’m sure there’s loaddssss I’ve missed.

Yes, I agree but your list looks so simple.

‘build exhaust’ I’m like yeah, no problem, that an all day job if I’m in the mood, 2 if I’m distracted

Sweet. Nothing like the feeling of reassembly with nice clean shiny bits.
Brendon Moss seems to be doing well with the zinc passivated bolts too.

Yeah I’m getting a box together and sending it off to a local place. Well, whether they make it or not, because I’ve already got new bolts for most of the front, so it’s only the rear really

    Shame they’re yellow.

There seems to be a bit of vertical movement in the bush, but the collar supplied is the correct length, so I assume it’ll squash up.

    Progress!
