[HELP] What's that sound? Starter brushes or?

    In the last few weeks it's getting more annoying to start the car, makes this sound and sometimes even longer and i have to try to start it again. Any clues?

    fuel injector knock? why can that be so?

    Yeah probably but you guys lost me there. Don't know any Monty Python references.

    Just wanted your experienced opinions but it's okay, will find out anyway, somehow.

    Just listened to a rod knock video, it's definately not rod knock. maybe. I think [:D] but thanks for clues and guesses

    I agree ,could well be,if one or more injector are leaking or stuck open you will get excessive fuel knock in a diesel.
    Often the cause is moisture or water in the fuel,it will corrode to sealing surface of the injector pintel and cause it to leak raw fuel.
    Don't know the history on your car so not 100% on the reply.

    seems like high pressure fuel pump is the problem because it leaks from one gasket spot. Will soon give it to be fixed.
