Had the main car off the road since before Christmas, broke a front spring in a pothole incident, obviously the road fund licence of all these electric vehicles is being spent on road maintenance, haha.
Anyway, decided was time to replace fully as just over 100k on it and quite a heavy beast. So after talking to DPM performance a set of koni shocks along with eibach springs were ordered.
Shocks arrived next day, springs due day after and had notification from courier saying so.
2 weeks later they arrived, thanks dpd!
Garage fitted the rear setup, and went to fit the fronts, but both bolts sheared in the hubs so play stopped as couldn't get them out, 2 new hubs ordered they are same as S3 and golf R on my car and alloy not iron.
Delays again with delivery from abroad, then 2 weeks in this country due last Wednesday, car went to garage to have them fitted, plus new toyo sports all round, new pads and other associated suspension bits plus a fresh mot..... well up until when on Thursday got a call saying DPD have lost the pair of new hubs!
Had a discussion about the next step, and managed to sort a solution.
Picked it up yesterday, and taken it on today's trip, nearly 300 miles.

Suspension has settled nicely, much nicer handling now its all fresh and not soggy on back end, hopefully the pads will be less dusty than what was in there too.
Last year had new cambelt with service, and still happy with the dpf 'solution ' and remap from couple years ago, possibly considering a different set of wheels but seriously thinking of Porsche macan calipers and 345mm disc upgrade, if anyone has done it on an mqb car I'd be interested to hear their thoughts on it.
Nice to be back in it, despite all the delays I'm glad I went for the full suspension kit.

Do you have in excess of 300 bhp to warant the macan brakes ? The 345mm brakes are seriously large and you need large wheels as well ! A friend of mine has the smaller 320mm discs and calipers of the macan, sq5 etc. and he is happy with the brakes performance ! The car is a 2015 audi allroad 2.0 tdi 170 Bhp and is also remapped...

Not up at 300, remapped and a few other tweaks.
Yes probably a little ott, but have you seen my 1.2 polo with lcr 323 brembos?
I've looked at the bm5 brembos, but uses a merc disc so needs extra mods to fit, and price wise the macan calipers are similar or cheaper and fit with standard parts directly, maybe brake hose, but a mk3 golf one is a possibility or macan even.
Even cupra/gti 340s are almost as much cost, the mk3 leon fr uses the gti/s3 alloy hub too which has clearance issues on the bm5 I believe.
18s on it now so should clear radially, might need spacers,
    cheers Dave

Just collected the car after having the tracking rechecked following the suspension settling, and a nice set of BBS alloys swapped.

Big brakes has nothing to do with the performance of the car! The bigger the brakes the bigger your manhood  If you have to buy bigger wheels and tyres then all the better. Big brakes with hugemongous calipers are essential if you want to be cool and of course they MUST be red. To be honest Dave I’m disappointed you would be settling for 345mm, have a word with yourself

Sorry @PhilRyder , I'm now researching fitting inboard discs to the driveshafts themselves, similar to mk4 escort rs turbo abs set up, but using rotors of around 470mm which is less than the rolling radius of my wheels so obviously won't cause interference problems, and then 2 porsche 18z calipers on each one, giving 12 pots per side ;)
But probably orange not red, don't want it to be too flashy.
    hehehe.

To be honest I didn't think 345mm was too ott, same as my A4 set up for a similar sized vehicle, depends on prices and what turns up really.
