02s Final Drive

    is there a 4.2 final drive available for the 6 speed 02s gearbox?

    I suspect it is, although these boxes are shorter in the first 3 gears anyway.

    I did find a 4.27 FD in the HJM code gearbox, on output shaft part number 02S311205F & differential part number 02C409021BF or 02C409021BB. These are listed for 04-09 Golf, 06-08 passat and 04-08 Octavia. Its a 4WD code box so probably not easy to get! Also found in box codes JYQ, JXQ and JDX

    Later versions have output shaft part number 02S311205P and diff 02C409021BA. But as above need to make sure it'll be any use combined with the other ratios

    Allthe 4.2's are 4wd boxes, but easy enough to strip it out.
