What is included in installing a gti camshaft into my 1.6 driver? currently running a pierburg but have a weber i need to put on. cheers in advance.
as long as its correct type to match head, swap it over and you're done. you can leave the 2e2 alone it'll cope fine. if you also fit the matching kjet gti dizzy for the better spark map you use the GTI timing procedure rather than carb, which is 6degrees BTDC at idle with vac line disconnected anfd plugged, then from there experiment gradually adding more advance. you'll have to make a new mark on the flywheel if you dont have a timing light with advance dial on it
