Hi I have a misfire on my polo vagcom is giving this code 16685 cyl 1 misfire po30135/10 Ross tec wiki is giving multiple solutions has anyone come across this and solved it or knows what it is I'm hoping its a coil pack but I'm not sure cheers in advance
Usually coil pack if coil on plug, swap no1 to another cylinder and run it and see if the misfire code goes to another cylinder. What year/engine? If it's a late one be careful removing the coil pack if it's coil on plug type, they can be easily damaged and VW have a special tool for pulling them off. Coil pack likely, next option compression check, or possible injector I have seen loads with exhaust valves sticking/no sealing normally related to fuel burning(mainly from the same local supermarket!)
