So, does it matter how much time you leave between each torque setting and 90 deg's you put on the bolt?

Is it best to do 40 and go away for a bit, then 60 etc etc?

I just do it all in 1 go following the sequence. i.e. nip em all up finger tight, then do all up 40 in sequence, then 60 in sequence, then 90 in sequence then last 90 in sequence. 5 head swaps so far and non have blown up (due to faulty head gasket at least )

just done my head gasket. it was easy with a 1.5m torque wrench. That bad boy goes up to nearly 400ft/p of torque without breaking on a 1" drive .

Could do it with a finger. Found it in my shed and have used it for everything, not that i have found a bolt to take that force yet lol
