My mk2 16v turned 20yrs old this month and still going strong after 5years of ownership/daily usage.

Though ive decided its getting retired at the end of the month from everyday use to weekend toy. In process of building a 2.0 bottom end to mate to the head n cams already in it so hopefully will provide an even more entertaining drive!

So a 'few' pics of when i got it, to where it is now before it goes into retirement.....

    spec...
    Fasteddie head & autotech cams
    WUR mod
    supersprint exhaust
    sach racing front shocks
    bilstein rear shocks
    bilstein springs
    280mm brakes with braided hoses
    eibach rear anti roll bar
OMP heavy duty upper strut brace
    gearbox diff bolt kit
wishbones & all front bushes replaced

this is what happens when you follow autotech cam timing marks - you lose 15bhp! cam to crank timing was a full tooth using their marks - the cnuts

and the new daily hack coming my way to replace it - only pic i have of it:)

aye just 15" RM's with the centre's done atlas grey

@phil - the blue thing will not be tinkered with engine wise - its standard and will be staying standard aka reliable!! nor will much else be getting done to it - just a wee tidy up here n there!

all money goes towards the 2.0!!

yes mate all working a treat, got the correct temp sender fitted also as i was able to remove low pressue oil sensor as one of the spades on the pressure sender is a low pressure sensor and the other is for the gauge. So got oil temp on gauge and mfa both running and agreeing with each other :) hopefully get it on rolling road in next fortnight before i switch the cams over

the subaru lasted for four years before i had to get rid before it rusted to nothing but was smitten, so replaced it with an 06 sti spec-d, got it sitting at 350bhp/395lbft so it tramps along rightly as my daily :)

This summers job is gearbox out and replace clutch and also bronze bush/input shaft. Seal is leaking slightly onto clutch plate and slipping a bit
