As above, it dawned on me I need a clutch and pressure plate for my car. I've had HotGolf lighten a G60/abf f'wheel, what's the best clutch to drive an o2j from a mk4 1.8T? Estimated power no more than 150 bhp, road use primarily.

Hi Tris. You can run any of the 228mm clutches with that power tbh so mk3 16v/tdi/vr6, golf g60, corrado etc. Only turbo power dictates the use of a VR6 clutch as a minimum.

I can get LUK, SACHS and Valeo in the local motor factors, from 130 to 190 euro. No cheaper online. Are all of the 228 clutches 6 bolt?

Actually, on further reflection, will I need different bolts for the flywheel too? I used standard 18mm head ones same as what was on the 2.0 bottom end, with the hard stainless steel "washer" plate under the 6 of them.
