    brooky is the cooler thermostatically controlled? i could do with something similar.

    The Thermostat is built into sandwhich plate :)

    Very trick - I like; no more getting burned wrists when changing the oil filter :thumbup:

    Won't that stop oil going through the filter when the engine is cold, with a remote mounted filter? Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see separate hoses for that. Or did you mean the bracket that the filter mounts to?

    The Oil filter gets constant flow, the thermostat controls the flow rate through the 12 row cooler.

    I've been using this set up for the last 14 Yearsand works very well.

    my first thought was like mikes. with two lines from the sandwich plates which i assume go to the remote filter, then the filter is thermostatically controlled to.

    where can I get one and for how much? Will it fit a KR block?

    If you are changing the crank what else are you doing to the KR Block ? Re-bore ?

    personally i would fit an ABF or 9A Block :thumbup:

    Brookster do not put the trigger wheel on the inside of the block, use an external one.

    I've heard of several exploding over time and mullering the inside of the engine.

    Well just an Update the pistons should arrive today, the Flywheel just arrived from Hotgolf ! Excellent bit of work. [:D]
