I know it has probably been posted before but is there a difference between a 1.8t 20v and a 1.8t 5v?

i have seen some engines that have 20v on the engines and some that have 5V, why?

    Thanks

    Mark

    but the audi s-5 20v are 2.2's not 1.8's

so it must be do with valves per cylinder and voerall valves, but still, feck knows why some are different.
