on the EVO magazine forum there is current a big thread about people's car's 60-100 times. someone has a mad cerbera that did it in 4.4s my one did it in a less scarey 12.7s whats yours? i think the rules are a static 60 to 100. whatever gear you like
if mine can do 0-100 in 10sec 3 years ago, I'm pretty sure 60-100 is doable in 4secs or less these days. SEAT 1.8T power.
I have a SAAB 9000 full pressure turbo, which is 200hp and 323Nm (@1800rpm!!!) as std, ours has a little more although I dont know why so probably similar in power to an aero. They are awesome through the gears, I take great amusement in leaving many other 'quick' cars behind (Astra GSi turbo sampled it on Friday). Not too clever stopping or going round bends though. It will crack 100 in 3rd, reckon I'll give it a go tomorrow and report back. Cheers. Pad
the saab was quicker 50-70 in 5th iirc... the diablo was geared to do 200+ lol mine was done on a private air strip etc etc which incidently had a slight uphill gradient. we'll create a list etc we currently have mine at 12.7s lol
yeah, Im not claiming for a minute mine is quicker than a Diablo. I think it comes from a test in the early 90s from 30-70 against a Testarossa - it probably bogged at 30 and its 'only' got 290bhp so it is plausible. I think over time, the myth has grown somewhat because 60-100 against a Diablo, no chance. Cheers, Pad
A Diablo VT is the only car I have ever refused a "Do you want a go?" drive in, after being taken for a rip....... I still had the "shaky legs" syndrome after he thrashed it up to 145 in a 40 limit and it felt like taking off in a plane! Bright yellow, if anyone lives near Salisbury.......

Had a shot of a 450bhp Evo 5 a few weeks ago, that was quick enough and tbh, it was no fun on the back roads where i drove it, you seemed to spend more time on the anchors than on the throttle. More fun to be had on a 1/4 mile strip in something that quick tbh.
i know my valver is quick from 60 -90 but then ur redlining so to get too 100 gotta be in 4th which sucks
anyone done it yet? i cant see anyone getting close to 4s, especially an a4 avant, unless it is a tuned rs4 or something. get down the "air field" and get timing
I'm planning on having a go at some point this week. Not sure what kind of time to expect. Maybe 6-7 seconds?
