    Yeah, wondered how long it'd take for someone to figure out mine's a 20v Turbo!

    So, the lardy R32 is as quick as a 1.8T mk2, what power is it running btw?

    a friend of mine (who came on the essex meet) has a green vr6, his is not that much quicker than mine in a straight line, ill get him to test his though. only problem is that he is rarely below 60, evar.

    ill try recording one for mine so you all witness has grim life is with a relatively standard abf lol

    I have no idea Gary, not put it on the rollers yet. It's an AGU with a K03s self mapped on MBE. Running 18psi so I'm guessing a conservative 220bhp?

    to a certain extent - there is nothing stopping you doing down a steep hill. Anyway, I kind of like to think that no-one is that sad they would inflate their time just to look good? There is always someone faster... :p

    did it in the 200sx(s14a) this morning and it was around 7-8seconds. it was nice not having to change gear-just floor it and count[:D]

    yup. i miss having genuine grunt, but i appreciate the golf's cheap chuckability.

    my airstrip was a bit congested on the way back today... didnt get a chance to do get my tokyo drift on etc

    i managed it in 4 seconds in the mk5 golf

    although that was on need for speed :lol:

    Gary that calculator should add the drivers weight as there are a few porkers on here (me included at the mo).

    Try adding peeps weight & see how much bhp you loose, i was dead chuffed with mine until i added my weight :lol: .

    Well here's my results as per the calculator. Weight is correct as I had it weighed and was exactly 1,000Kg + my lardy 96Kg, guessed at 220Bhp.

    Maybe I actually have more BHP?

    Oh as a comparison a chap I work with tried it on his way home on his private test track (he has named his track the M42)

    Mondeo TDCi

    60-100 in.................................................15 seconds!

    i gave it a go... i have to admit my test was very unfair and i didnt really do it exact.. but in my 16v abf i did it in 9.5secs dead.. which seems about right comparing it to The db
