It clocked 0-60mph in 6.8 seconds at Trax. Thats the same as a corsa VXR [:D]

The old 2.5" exhaust system was just too loud for me (and castle combe) so i had a brand new 2.25" system made

Exhaust looks good Ed, Good choice of tailpipe design. Does it have an extra box to quieten it down then, or simply the reduced diameter?

Weight figure seems good too, I would like to get mine on a weigh bridge, but finding one seems the trick

Its got a longer centre silencer to keep noise down. They assured me it will be under 100dB now :)
Really nice welding work & lifetime warranty so well worth the 300 paid imo

I went down the local scrap metal merchants & drove it onto their scales. All the lorry drivers looked abit puzzled lol
I'll save more weight when i get rid of the OE leather seats & put some sparco sprint buckets in & planning a fiberglass bonnet after Xmas

this is making me want to start modifying my little 1.4 6k haha. i thought i hated the thing, but the car is growing on me.

really liking yours too. looks very nice in red, and i bet it flies with the abf in it. not a bad handling car either, very predictable i found.

Went to pick up my wheels from the powder coaters

Really impressed, think they look great. Not light wheels at 10.2kg each so might find some light rims for track days & keep these for road

Speedline Comp 2's aren't that much lighter, mine weighed in at 9.2kg without tyres. To get that weight back just have a good dump before going out on track :)

I made a set of superlites in 7x16 a few years ago that were 6.5kg each. Considering doing another set for the ibiza ;)

I'd recommend one, it has made a big difference. Mostly on launch or dropping down a gear when the engine rocks around alot. There is no extra vibration through the cabin/chassis but the engine is held alot tighter.

    expensive though

Looks good! Makes me wish I still had my 'ginger' mk2 8v Ibiza. The mk3 wheels do weigh a ton! I assume you have no problems with rust under the arches or that, it's what started to kill mine!

90mph = ~ 160bhp on the GS rolls. Given the "typical nature" the plot will take means 160bhp@6000rpm and around 145-150lbft@4500rpm.
From your ET looks like you had some traction problems in the first 60 ft. 60ft in 2.5secs by chance?

Loose some kilos, change the FDR and work on your traction.

No point in more power at this stage as you are throwing away the little that you have at the start.
60ft to ~2.0-2.1 secs can be done without breaking the bank.
