Cheers I'm away to recheck my wiring connections as I can't get vcds to connect to cluster Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
Do you know the resistance of the polo 6n fuel sender empty and the mk1 caddy fuel sender empty?Cheers Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
not sure, I do know the mk4 works opposite to mk1/2/3 so i would assume the same is true for the polo. the way aroudn it is to mod a mk4/polo level sender board to the mk1 level sensor assembly, or mod the wiring on the mk1 board somehow. I've heard people say they de soldered something and swapped to make it work but no detailed info was given...
Yeah I had a look it looks like the polo is 50ohms empty whereas the mk1 is 270 ohms empty working backwards as you say Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
It's a polo 6n cluster that's being fitted into a mk1 caddy so looks like I'd have to mod the sender of the mk1 Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
Changed ideas again as fuel gauge going to be a pain have now went down the road of vdo speedo rev counter and temperature fuel gauges etc need to know for the speedo if the speed sensor on the gearbox is a pnp or a npn output if anyone can help cheers Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
