Bet that you did not know that Audi only quoted the low power, 170 bhp, 7As in their publications?

I have read somewhere that Audi only built 300 off 184 bhp 7As in the 90s! The nasty Coup may not have got that motor?

I can't really believe this, as 300 is a funny number! 400 makes more sense. To my mind, Audi were going to use this car in DTM, to compete with the 2.3l M3s and 190E Cossies. Then against the 2.5l DTM 190E EVO II Cossies! Did BMW make a 2.5l EVO II M3?

Anyways up. They built a hell of a lot more than 400 off 2.0l 160 bhp NM 90s for Italy! So, all of the tuning parts are available from that car!

    Hi daved
Yes bmw made an m3 evo2 and it was a 2.5 liter
Our ultimate version was a 2.8 with 350 bhp
    For a 4 pot rally spec N/A
The evo 2 is really rare and was produced in really small quantity
