Well had some bad luck this morning on the way to work. The head gasket decided to pack it in, luckly I got it off the motor way on a slip road before it over heated. Now I need to decide what I'm gonna do next, change the head gasket and send the head off or change the engine.

So yesterday I had my windscreen replaced, so while it was out I had a look for the dreded rust that was bound to be there[xx(]

I was really worried about it because I could see the little rust bubble just under the rubber seal, it never got any bigger though. I'm quite pleased TBH

Interesting to see what it looks like under the screen rubber; I've got this job to do tomorrow and am experiencing similar amount of trepidation and anxiety.. as Pigbladder says it doesn't really look too bad - definitely needs seeing to, but it doesn't look properly rotten anywhere.

Yay for shiney new bits too

Yeah, I'll have to have the screen out again to fix it but right now it's all about trying to get it MOT'd for Curby
