I would buy I like the speakers in the doors because the ones in the dash are a pain to get to. Thanks though bud
Well had some bad luck this morning on the way to work. The head gasket decided to pack it in, luckly I got it off the motor way on a slip road before it over heated. Now I need to decide what I'm gonna do next, change the head gasket and send the head off or change the engine.
Some good news, head gasket is okbut I do need to replace a coolant hose. Time to get it ready for MOT
The cause of my scare, the heater matrix feed hose. Fixed nowtime to start looking at what it's gonna take to get her MOT'd
I remember that happened to a Gti I had once, couldnt stop, and it slowly started to pink more[:^(] It was fine though after I fixed hose Theres something very tough looking about your car, cant put my finger on what it is though, Ill have to spend more time looking at it to try figure it out
So yesterday I had my windscreen replaced, so while it was out I had a look for the dreded rust that was bound to be there This is what I found passenger side this is the bit I was really worried about Drivers side unfortunatly I didn't have time to do anything about it but over the next few months the windscreen will be back out and I will treat and fix the little rust there is
I was really worried about it because I could see the little rust bubble just under the rubber seal, it never got any bigger though. I'm quite pleased TBH
Interesting to see what it looks like under the screen rubber; I've got this job to do tomorrow and am experiencing similar amount of trepidation and anxiety.. as Pigbladder says it doesn't really look too bad - definitely needs seeing to, but it doesn't look properly rotten anywhere. Yay for shiney new bits too
Yeah, I'll have to have the screen out again to fix it but right now it's all about trying to get it MOT'd for Curby
