Abf ecu amps

    Hi

    I'm fitting a second ecu in my car and I can't find anywhere the amps drawn by the ecu live and ignition wires which I could do with to find the right relays to put between the two so I don't short anything if anyone could help I would appreciate it

    there are no specs I know of for this, but what exactly is it you're trying to do? have you got a piggy back map ecu or something?

    I'm wiring in a second ecu one one for road use one for track luckily my uncles an electrician so if I can find out what the ecu uses I can get the parts he needs to have them on a switch to flick between the two thinking of wiring to ignition live one on and the other off or visa versa

    the mk3 ecu doesnt drain that much so any good relay will do you fine, just note it has a 2nd ignition live pin you'll want to switch over as well.
