ABF THROTTLE SWITCH

    Are there any ABF wizards that could help set up my throttle idle switch, had the switch done recently but is abit jerky on and off throttle
    I’m in Sussex if anyone can help

    First make sure you have no fault codes plus check the switch is actually working in vagcom, this thread has the label files plus further in it tells you what blocks to check for the idle switch:

    you can make the measurements from the outside rather than the inside to save removing the throttle. may find it needs a tweak though, but gives you a base line to start from

    It’s in my MK2 which doesn’t have an OBD port but I will have a read and see how I get one

    definitely a good idea :) hopefully loom builder left the grey/white diagnostics wire floating about near the fusebox. if its got an immobiliser you tap the port into the immo box loom rather than ecu direct though
