Hi everyone, It’s been a long time since I’ve signed up to a forum and even longer since I last owned a mk2 golf GTI back in 1999. After years of much deliberation I finally decided (convinced the other half) that it was time to relive my youth lol. Thanks to Matt Palmer I picked up a right little stunner. I'm new here to, and had the same issues uploading images. I set up a free DropBox account and uploaded from there. Very straightforward. When you click on the link button you'll notice the url will end in ?dl=0. I changed this to ?raw=1[/img] to get the image to show up in the forum posting. When using ?dl=0 it showed up as an error image icon. Click on the image icon (next to smily face) in this forum, and paste the url/code. Cheers, Jon
Welcome, sure that you'll have loads of fun with it, great help on here. Sure somebody will confirm, but think you need 10 or 20 posts before direct uploading, or possibly become a paid member to do it sooner. Any plans for the car then, obviously apart from taking your other half on a shopping spree
Thanks buddy. lol I’m marrying her next year surely that’s enough Plan for now is to just do the odd bits here and there like sort out the heater flaps (refoam) tidy the leather door cards up a bit as they are scuffed in areas then next year full strip down ready for new paint and hopefully the vr6 conversion.
