Hi, I’ve just got my mk2 back on the road and have an aftermarket rear ARB that bolts up to the rear shockers, but the straps/clamps have snapped is there anywhere I could buy another set. I’ve put a 1.9D engine in and the -60 springs are to low would people recommend 16v gti eibach springs thanks.
I ran -35 eibach springs on my old one. Was a nice height, still very much drivable, removed the gap in the arch. Not sure on the ARB but they look like fancy jubilee clips.

Thinking of going for the Eibach Pro-Kit Performance Spring Kit E8509-140 its the TD/16v set. they say they only lower by 20mm but i presume that's off the already lowered 16v height. its also wide tracked if you think that might make a difference. it didn't use to catch when it was a 1.6 driver and not wide tracked
Thats the kit I have on mine now, ended up about the same as the 40mm 8v boge/sachs kit I had on before.
