Hi all, Can anyone help me with wiring pinouts on grey plug that went into fusebox originally from audi a3 1.8t automatic (1999 car) I know this plug feeds gearbox ecu but need to know what needs to be connected for mk2 golf conversion. Thanks Toby
That plug is for the automatic ecu, strip all of that out and bin. all you need are the plugs mentioned in my oem guide
Hi , sorry its staying automatic in the mk2 so I need to use the feeds on the grey plug to power gearbox ecu. What I need to know is what I can link those 10 wires to on the mk2 Or even what they do so I can work out what I need to keep from that grey plug.
T10b - grey: 1 - blk/grn - ignition live 2 - red/blk - connect to brake light switch black/red 3 - gry/wht - diagnostics 4 - brn - starter inhibitor relay pin 7/31 (earthed in engine harness somewhere, suspect with main ecu earth ring terminal near ecu) 5 - red/pur - permanent live 6 - yel/blu - starter inhibitor relay pin 9/S7 7 - red - J189 'auto check system' pin 6 (assume some kind of check light?) 8 - red/yel - starter inhibitor relay pin 1/S1 9 - red/gry - starter inhibitor relay pin 3/PN 10 - brn/blu - selector lock solenoid pin 2 and selector light unit pin 1 I've put the diagram in my signature link, 8l1autoecu.pdf
