And finally after spending almost 2 years out of the car the engine is back and at least in the same location as the rest of the car.......

Factory fresh! Have you had any mods done to it while it’s been rebuilt?

Just a little bit of polishing work done to the head, other than that bog standard.

The rest of the car will be pretty much standard as well other than running Bilstein B12 so will be a little lower than standard.

Slowly getting there. Very excited to see the car in the flesh when I can get over to it later this year.

None of my handiwork as I've got someone doing the work for me, but I've spent many enjoyable hours looking for parts online.

Is the upside fog light/rear window heater/blank mounting intentional? Looking good though, you won't disappointed with your suspension choice. Firm but not crashy at all, and very supple at low speed over speed bumps

That's refreshing to hear, I've done bike recommissions , spent long hours rebuilding engines, wiring repairs, bodywork etc and customers have claimed it all as their own work.

Nothing wrong with letting someone else do the work.

    Car looks top notch

Great build. There is something about a red Mk2 that I can't explain.

What are the flappy things on the side of the radiator? Not seem them before, are they standard?

    Keep up the great work
