I suspect it's a Hybrid HDD (1TB HDD + embedded 8GB SSD as cache) rather than two separate drives. No need to reformat IMO - unless you want rid of Windows 8!
Ah. I bought a laptop with a small SSD cache drive, but it was separate, so I just bought a decent sized on. I always reformat a new machine to get rid of the manufacturer installed bloatware.
It was a special action for the opening (26/11) of a new store here in Belgium went there yesterday, they are all gone out and here its ( almost allways) Azerty keyboards, in the Netherlands its qwerty Best to have a look on here : http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/ Or http://www.informatique.nl/?m=usl&g=095&sort=pop&v=HP
It would be a hybrid drive, funny old things! Did a bit of work for WD the other week for a new version. You always want rid of windows 8!
Ok, because I am me I've left this miles too late. The 2 I'm looking at are these which are both very similar but 80 different. Are they upto the job and which would you get? http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/271701373132?_mwBanner=1 http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/301376011438?_mwBanner=1
Personally I'd go for the cheaper one. It has a 3yr warranty instead of 1yr and the i5 instead of bigger i7 won't make any real difference to games.
