Can I do that? Specifically the prices that hold the back seats in place.

And how do I find the part numbers for what I want?

    Thanks

I’d probably say you’re best finding someone who is breaking one and cut that bit out

The thing I can’t find would click into No.7 on this:

Looks quite like bits on my old A4 b7 avant, maybe look at one of them?
Or might have been polo 9n, I hacked seat mounts out of one of them on hot day in case Ed's didn't have them swapping to split rear seat, but it did.

I hacked the central 1K0 386 177 D from the car and took the clip and cover too.

The pic you posted of the left/right lower outers is spot on so now I just need the ‘outer uppers’ if that’s the right term [8-}]

Ball sack :(. Back to the scrappers with a recip saw or something.

I’d buy them but still not even sure they will fit in the Mk2 to an acceptable standard.

Could you swap the soft parts to a mk2 frame, just done it for the mk3 rear seat, bolts straight in then, I've just got to make a cover panel for rear of it.
Theres a frame on the bay in Sheffield for a fiver still, was going to get it, but just used Allie's old one instead.
That's also how I did rover coupes seats in my minor, made the central panel smaller and stitched the two halves together.
Have the mk3 frame still if want it to butcher.

I’m actually in Chesterfield now so might try the frame, does it have the arse bit as well?

    Is it that one:

I've got both bits of mk3, well 4 bits I think, just seemed easier for me to fit mk2 frames, but seen mk3 stuff fitted in threads.
I'm in Sowerby Bridge, I'll pm

Thanks very much for them Dodgy

They are pretty close, the arse bit is near perfect. The upright bit is the same width at the bottom but Mk3 seat a bit wider at the top with the fixing very close.
