so had a problem when changing gears the engine revs stay high when changing ,found out its the clutch switch has to be wired in so that's the next litte bit then its off to get mapped

next question I'm upping the turbo need something better than k04 for more boost but want to use something that is already on a car with boost potentiall, its easier to get one off a car to mock up as I cant fit a different manifold,,, no more room at the back of the engine to bulkhead ,my t.i.p sizes would be ok for 60 to 80 mm

The engine has a 225ps 'K04' turbo already yes?
And you what another more capable turbo with the same fittment as your current turbo?

no its a k04 001hybrid which is the k03 manifold ,there is very little room at the back of the engine ,I don't think the k04 manifold would fit, that why I need something that will either bolt on or maybe make a conversion plate but the turbo would have to have a round manifold inlet to the turbo to match an adapter plate to manifold, something that is already fitted to a car that I can get from the scrap yard or off ebay to mock up fitting ,don't know what size I need something with good boost reserve so I don't loose pressure at wot ,I'm open to sugestions as I will have to make a conversion plate to fit I'm looking at 350 bhp thanks

308 calipers.gif .its running realy well goes like a rocket could do with higher gearing as it goes throught the gears rather quickly and seems undergeared ,put bigger callipers on as well

yes I'm struggling to find a manifold that will fit I might have to go for the audi tt manifold and a k04 023 instead of this k04 001 which is basically a k03 hot side and k04 compressor

Why not go for a k03 hybrid? That way you keep the same manifold etc

well that's that bit done new turbo, manifold, downpipe and wrapped in heat wrap and pipe work changed ,moved the battery box over for more room as the k04 was closer to the gearbox mapped at 308bhp now changed the led s in the clocks ,looks brill in white instead of the crappy blue, taking the sump off to clean it out and check oil pickup pipe and helicoil the turbo oil return bolts as there not good,oh and some 225/45/17 wheels and tyres
