Merry Christmas! I woke up and did nothing. Just about filled and watching the Discovery Channel. Glad for the time off.
After a long day spent lazing, eating too much and watching TV, I went out to my shed around 10pm, did some minor tweaks to the mk5, and got the mk2 on the lift.
Happy Christmas and very best wishes to all. No tinkering for me as cars are 4,000 miles away but my best mate checked in on them to make sure they were ok and having a good winter snooze. My 2020 resolution is to find the culprit that’s causing that slight hesitation on the GTI - next on the list are new vacuum lines, replace ISV with genuine second-hand unit, replace main pump and replace complete distributor. I will find the bas$$@d....
