i have coded a few used clocks in mk4 golfs in the past and had no problem
but have tryed to change the clocks on me 4motion to r32 clocks
i have both immo skc pins for both the car and the new clocks

right this is the bit i get stuck at once i log into the new clocks and go to [11] adaptations and read channel 50
all i get is no longer available error

now get the same error if i try it with the old clocks
so i dont think it is down to the clocks
it's not down to the vag-com lead as i coded some sports clocks into a mk4 gttdi this week no problem

    the skc are both ok

    any one had this problem

im thinking it could be the ecu as it has a cc remap

it's been a while since had to mess around with stuff, but should you be coding the engine ecu (old) to the new clocks as immob is seeing a new ECU attached

I'd be looking at the ross tech site for ref

    thanks for the reply
aye been on the ross tech site that how i found out how to do it
as i said i did a cluster swap this week on a different mk4
fitted immo3 bora sport clock into a immo2 gttdi had to match the key a second time as it only did one key the first time but other than that it worked first time

as you said i could try it the other way but i would not have the vin of the car on the clocks and i would need to get new keys the vin is not a big thing

my car is 2001 immo2 i'm trying to fit immo3 r32 clocks so when i fit the r32 ecu so i can keep the immobiliser

ps i think this car hates me

think i worked it out i just need to code to the new clocks with the pin i have for it to the keys then pare it to the ecu job done
i may need new transponders for the keys that the only thing
was hoping not to need to get new keys

the other car must have been immo3 strange as it had a older type of clock never mind
