Hello, we've had a 1.8 16v Corrado for 10 years, it's been off the road for 6 years. we used when we first bought it and it worked fine and It has a sigma immobiliser fitted.

The fuel pump doesn't make a noise anymore checked the relay and changed it but the pump still doesn't work. whilst in the process of putting a new relay in we noticed that there is 2 wires pushed into the ECM relay slot and there is no relay, any ideas?

the wires are orange and lilac.

Have you checked the fuse? I think it's number 18.

On the k-jet 16v the fuel pump relay is operated from the coil.

I suspect your immobiliser has failed and is preventing power to the fuel pump relay or power to the coil. Thats where I would start looking.

try an 18 relay in slot 12, if the pump comes on with ignition the pump and wiring plus fuse all ok, if not look at the pump wiring and fuse, pumps etc. the alarm may be tapped into the fuel pump power wire near the fusebox, as above i would suspect its that which has packed in
