Hi guys my engine light came on today ,tried connecting obd reader but it powers up but fails to connect, tried on my other car works ok even tried on dsughters skoda no problem. I have disconnected radio completely but still nothing any ideas
A lot if cheapy readers don't connect to everything. Mine works in my mk5, but not my 5 series for example. Best try another, or better yet VCDS or workshop level diagnostic.
