Yep, same findings here - KR has 5mm more oil on the stick. Any info on dipsticks/Tubes on the transverse 1.8T I have part numbers and they seem to be the same regardless of inlet side. Dipstick is 06A 115 611 Q, Guide Funnel is 06A 103 663 B Are they interchangable on the older engines? Or should i say are the metal Guide tubes the same diameter?
Does anybody how much the abf dipstick protrudes from the steel holder tube that goes into the block? I have shortened the steel tube but did not take an accurate enough measurement this means im now unsure of how much to take of the dipstick it self!!
easiest way forward is measure the tube from a mk1/2/3 1.6-1.8 lump, just make sure if its from a mk1 its later block with plastic guide tube like yours then compare to your shortened version
