I drove a new motorhome the other day...

Oh, wait, that's actually a daily occurrence! Lol.

Collected / drove my E30 for the first time a couple of weeks ago, it's a sh1theap yet with a general tidy up you could daily one. I was impressed.

With the ahem, unusual year it's been, I've driven very little unusual stuff.
I must take out the M5 for a quick spin.

 

We bought a 2017 Merc GLC300 a few months back - it's my wife's, I don't really drive it but I have to say the few times I've driven it, it's a nice bus. Very comfortable and quick (2.0L turbo) and plenty of mod cons.

My daily is a Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6L - I've had it almost 4 years and the only thing that failed in it was a thermostat and I replaced that myself - stat cost $70 and the change out was done in 20 minutes

 

As per my avatar. Not new to me but will be to many others. I've had it many years, I certainly couldn't afford to buy it now! Always brings a smile to my face when I drive it and I still have to pinch myself sometimes to know it's in the garage for whenever I want it. Just got it back after having the gearbox replaced. The Golf is so refreshing when it comes to prices though.........

That Supra is very lovely though. I saw one before COVID at the last local car show I went to, was drawing a lot of attention.

 

i drive this beautiful 10 plate quasqai down narrow country lanes daily, rides an absoloute dream... get all the looks from the mums at the school gate, they know what i got

 

I had a qashqai, 2 litre diesel, dpf removed and remapped, absolute beast, and comfy, then I swapped to a bmw mini clubman, really disappointing after the Nissan.

Have driven the kia picanto a bit recently, that's different, sure it says 'Singer' on top the engine.

 

Quasquai... Beast... Same sentence.

My computer says no.

 

Picanto: vicious brakes, indicator on the wrong side, throttle highly non linear to make it feels like its got lots of go low down. LOL

It's ok, but cable clutch feels like it has a fulcrum point, loads of room in it, and took Ed back to Bristol from Halifax and got stupidly high mpg.
And yes, brakes are VERY good.

 

Its my 'aunties' car, have the FOC contract for maintenance, LOL

Santa used to come around in his sleigh in Glastonbury when I lived there, helping the round table collection, obviously the reindeer were resting for the 25th and a landy discovery towed it.
As our road was a dead end and last stop on the trip, was a little worrying when Ed was little seeing father Christmas wave as he gently passed the houses, then turn around and floor it back past us.

 

Dave, having visited I can see there is no way the Round Table are getting a sleigh up there! Even with Santa's magic sleigh it must be a struggle! Fantastic views though and what a picturesque part of the world you live in.

 

Nice to meet you Phil, yes it's nice around here, not too clever in the ice though, Allie slipped over outside one of the supermarkets and continued on down the hill a few years ago, unfortunately I wasn't there to see it.
Santa was back in Somerset, which I miss, but it's great countryside all around home here, just no beaches.
Hope your journey was good after collection from university, and the seat is a help, luckily you didn't come in the Porsche, dont think would have fitted so easily.
And I was spurred on to tidy the shed which I can now get inside, and found a rear wiper for the polo that I nearly ordered as arm had broken.
