Saw a Ford Transit yesterday (didn't get photo) that looked like an ST. Is there such a thing?

It was blue, with the two silver stripes front to back, and lots of lights on the front, rally-style. Nice alloy wheels. It was new, but on a private plate.

I bet it never sees any bricks or builder's rubbish.

It sounds tacky, but it looked really cool. And quite tasteful, if it was a custom job. So, is there such a thing as a Transit ST, or was it just in the style of one?

The one I saw was a paler metallic blue and had silver stripes. It had four Cibie style lamps on the front and nice alloys.

Dave - is this another one of yours that I don't already know about? I like the looks of that. Is it coming to the next meet?

Had it on loan for the weekend (on trial). What a giggle.....a van that is quicker mid range than just about anything VW make. Not plucked up the courage or money yet to buy one. 21k if you fancy it.

    Cracking looking Van[8D]

What TDCI Motor is in this then?:)

Prefer the VW Van posted above though but currently have a hankering for a New Astra Sportive 1.9 with a re-chip;)

130PS in the Ford versus 174PS in the T5 Sportline. The T5 is chippable to 215PS so I'm reliably told. Can't imagine what that goes like, very quick as is. :o

Can't you get a transporter with the 3.2 V(R)6 engine in it? I'm sure you can get the older model transporter with the 2.8 VR6 engine also...
