    HI guys,

    I've tken my RS wheels off to refurb them and have been playign with widening the fronts a little 1-1.5" lips so that i'm running 8" all around. But need a little help on checking my offset / wheel calculations.

    the wheels in question are sme BBS RS 137 with a 45 offset from factory.

    current specs:
    Barrel = 6"
    Lips = 1"
    adapters= 18mm
    Revised offset = 27

    if i add a 1.5" lip onto it, that should bring the offset to 20.7

    current 1" set up is good, no rubbing and just a tiny bit of stretch on the tyre... but i'm thinking this new setup would mean quite a bit more stretch to help with rubbing...so might aswell not bother?

    this was a trial fit with the sider lips:
